Not all rides go to plan........

I think some kit takes a hammering and goes beyond the normal expected uses........

Braved the shitty winter weather and headed out on 120km training ride - preferred option to Zwift and turbo until I've sorted a TV and PC area and forced indoors.

After starting in wind and rain, I settled into a decent, comfortable ride against the elements until my chain link decided to shear.   And shear in a non-quick link friendly way.   Ride over.

As the Genesis take a hell of a beating every month, 2 failed rides in ~42.5k km's is a pretty low fail rate.   However, the mid-life refit is tantalisingly close.

Mrs Stav is amazing!  After finding shelter, terminated ride and a SOS rescue.
