Over the weekend I had the chance to switchout my 105 52t 170mm cranks for Ultegra 50t 172.5mm cranks. This corrects a long standing issue I've had in crank length - I've preferred 172.5's but compromised on 170's. In preparing for the Di2 upgrades, I have been looking at re-gearing from 52t to 50t and took the chance to do while sale switch. In theory, mechanical Alfine 8 will potentially be spinning out while on the Di2 Alfine 11, it'll give a better gear spread.
Also, I've modified the second bottle position and pre-mounted the Di2 battery.
Ed at the Bike Garage tells me the wheels are imminent.......
