Ride with Pride.

June may be the Pride month, but these aren't 30 day laces. It may be small, call it tokenism, or anything else, but I'm rather proud of my laces.  They're on my regular, everyday shoes used for training, commutes, errands etc so do many hours out on the road.

They brighten up my feet, but more than that, I hope they brighten up someone else's.  I want them to do two things:
  1. Celebrate all things that aren't straight.  After all, love for each other is love for each other.  How can that be bad??  If you're offended by that, that's your problem, not anyone else's.
  2. I hope that if anyone is struggling with their sexuality, not sure about their own feelings, walking down the mundane grey UK town street and my feet go past and shows the glimpse of "hey, the world ain't that bad, there always colour out there", I hope it gives a bit of random kindness.
So my very cool shoes!  #RideWithPride

p.s. - I might now need to up my sock game.
