Long way home - Yorkshire to Nottingham

As I have been in Yorkshire, it's not too big a jump to ride back to the midlands, so I did.   I was testing out the new set up (Apidura frame pack with bladder and straw, plus bar extensions and tweaked lighting systems etc) in some challenging conditions.   I had winds for much of the time and diversions due to floods at a number of points, but for a 4C ride, pretty much bomb proof.   The Enigma rolled just to perfection, tyres gave confidence after previous puncture on the Vittoria's and layering gave me comfort throughout the day.

311km covered, around 14.5hrs door to door, couple thousand calories burned.   I got to ride with a barn owl for a short distance, the European Market owner in Newark thought I was mad, but over all a really good ride.
